Books on the Chopping Block

BOOKS ON THE CHOPPING BLOCK is City Lit’s annual Banned Books Week readings series of short excerpts from the year’s 10 books most frequently targeted by would-be censors, performed at libraries around Chicago and suburbs.  The audition will consist of sides from one or two of the books.
