SEEKING
Equity and Non-Equity actors for the following roles:

TANIA DEL VALLE – (LatinX) early thirties; American-born, smart, likable, positive, passionate, highly-energized, pregnant Ph.D. candidate and gardener. Cusses like a champ in Spanish but not fluent in the language. She has a foot in two worlds.

PABLO DEL VALLE (LatinX)- early thirties; Chilean, perhaps a slight accent. smart,
likable, ambitious, savvy young attorney with gravitas.

VIRGINIA BUTLEY – fifties to seventies; smart; likable, assertive, direct, no-nonsense
engineer.

FRANK BUTLEY – fifties to seventies, smart, likable, excitable, caring, detail-oriented
federal employee and gardener.

4 EXTRAS: (will double as UNDERSTUDIES for all roles) speaking roles as a surveyor, landscapers, and building examiner, including silent roles in vignettes between scenes that transform the garden. These workers should “exude personalities as they work…and are the witnesses and the energetic transformers of both the play and the situation.”

PREPARATION

SELF-TAPE GUIDELINES

• Shoot HORIZONTALLY (wide screen), not vertically. The camera should be stationary. No selfie videos, please. You will need a reader.
• Please choose 2 sides for your character to submit.
• Include an opening FULL BODY SLATE with your NAME, HEIGHT, LOCATION (local talent preferred) and
  REPRESENTATION and UNION AFFILIATION (if applicable).
• Please upload your slate and scene(s) takes separately – labeled as follows; (FirstNameLastName_Slate, FirstLast_S1T1, FirstLast_S2T1… etc.)
• Union and Non-Union actors are both welcome to submit.
