Trap Door Theatre is seeking actors/singers, dancers, and gymnasts, for a World Premiere of the baseball backdropped musical farce The Game, Written and Composed by Danny Rockett, Directed by Miguel Long and Nicole Wiesner.
Non-AEA: $800 stipend plus tips, for rehearsals/shows. – Plus additional possible compensation and hours for Cast Album recording.
Performances at The Edge Theater
Rehearsal venues: Multiple Locations
Performers must be local to the Chicagoland area
Material to Prepare:
Please submit one 1-2 minute video (Vimeo or Youtube link preferred), of a live performance of one upbeat show tune, and/or one ballad, with backing track preferred.
Please submit one PDF file of a combined headshot and resume, highlighting any baseball/tumbling/acrobat skills.

Time Commitment:
Rehearsals begin end of May/1st week of June, 2027. Mon-Wed evenings, Saturday days and Sunday day or evenings.
Tech/Performances: July 26-September 11, 2027
Cast album recording: Current and ongoing thru Spring 2027.

Casting for Leads, chorus, and understudy positions.
Donovan Tickets: Male/Age 40+/All ethnicities. An eccentric, self made billionaire. The actor also plays a variety of other characters. Bari-Tenor.
Babe Aaron: Male/20’s-30’s/All ethnicities. An athletic, handsome baseball playing superstar, who is also the nice guy next door. Strong singer. Bari-Tenor
Tomora Tickets: Female/20’s-30’s/All ethnicities. An evil genius femme fatale nepo baby. Strong singer. Alto/Mezzo
Terry Tickets: Male/20’s-30’s/All ethnicities. A sniveling rich kid who is moronically greedy. Strong singer. Bass/Baritone
Buttercow Bill: Male/40+/All ethnicities. A bombastic larger than life baseball showman. Strong singer. Bari-Tenor.
Louise: Female/20’s-30’s/All ethnicities. A smart no nonsense spunky reporter. Strong singer. Alto/Mezzo/High Belt
Chorus/Understudies: All Genders/Ages/Ethnicities. Seeking comedic actors with strong singing abilities, and acrobatic dancers, to play a variety of roles including, baseball players, billionaire team owners, reporters, fans, etc.
