3 Brothers Theatre is holding auditions for The Boy Who Cried Dragon! This show will be the first production in our TYA troupe, 3 Little Sisters. We will be touring at community venues across the north and northwest suburbs, as well as performing in our home theatre. Touring locations are to be determined. Performances will be on Saturdays and Sundays late morning/early afternoons between May 17 and June 1, but could possibly extend later into the Summer dependent on actor availability.
Material to Prepare:
Please prepare a one-minute TYA monologue, a kid-friendly comedic monologue, or a telling of a fairy tale. We may also provide sides for cold readings.
Time Commitment:
Rehearsal schedule to be determined based on actor availability.

TRAVIS DAVIS, 12, he is a book-smart, bored boy.
CYNTHIA DAVIS, 32, she’s the mother of Travis. A diner waitress.
PRINCIPAL WITHERS, 35, she is the school principal.
LOIS, 50, she’s a diner waitress who works with Cynthia.
OFFICER BILLIG, 40-50, he’s a Village of Park Forest police officer. One of a handful. It’s a small village.
DRAGON, age unknown. A dragon.
While many of the character descriptions fall on the gender binary, all roles are open to actors of any and all gender identities. Additionally, all roles are open to actors of any ethnicity.
