We are very excited to invite you to audition for Theatre Arcana’s Inaugural Season! We are looking to cast 3 projects: New Pages Play Development, our Fall production, and our Spring 2027 Production.

New Pages Play Development : $50 Stipend, 20-30 hours per project, Callbacks May 16th
We are currently selecting four plays to be developed over the summer. Approximately 6-10 hours per week for 3 weeks. They will be directed and dramaturged by Arcana Ensemble members. Each play will receive a public reading between June – August depending on the play and availability.
Fall 2026 / Spring 2027: $100 Stipend, 12-18 hours/week, Callbacks in August 2026/Jan 2027
From our New Pages selections, we will choose the plays we are producing.
Performances are in December 2026 and May 2027

Material to Prepare:
Two contrasting contemporary monologues with a combined time no longer than 3 minutes.
If you uploaded your headshot and resume to the Google form, there is no need to bring one with you.
Character Type/Restrictions:
We highly encourage POC, LGBTQIA+, and non-binary performers to submit. We are committed to equitable casting and need a diverse casting pool to fufill our playwrights diverse character descriptions!
