Website The Yellow Rose Theatre

Pay Rate: Stipend $500
Audition Date and Time: Video submission / Call backs April 1
Contact Person Name: Casting: Sophie Vitello/Katherine Wetterman

Set in a single back room in Chicago, the play begins in a modern speakeasy-themed bar in the present day, before the audience then embarks on a journey through the history of the place. Throughout the course of the play, we see casts of different characters existing in the space as it serves as a home for various outsiders through history. In each era, the audience will have a chance to influence history and change what we see when we return to the present day.  A comedy at heart, the play also discusses themes of community, authenticity and the power of choices.

Seeking: Non-equity actors – 3 principals, 3 swings

Callbacks: Evening of April 1st. During callbacks, we will pair actors up and read sides from the show. Sides do not need to be memorized. You will be contacted and given sides by March 29th if invited to callbacks.
