The National Theatre for Children is seeking actors for its fall and winter tours. NTC actors perform in two-actor troupes that tour a state performing in schools and teaching students about important societal issues. All of our shows are original, comedic pieces that touch on issues like water conservation, energy efficiency, financial literacy, nutrition, STEM, and others. Rehearsals last one week and are held at our building in Golden Valley, Minnesota. Our tours last four to eight weeks.
Actors must be 21 or older to apply and must have a valid driver’s license to be considered. This is a paid position. We offer $425/week while touring on the road and a $200 rehearsal stipend. NTC provides lodging, touring vehicle, and budget for gas.
NTC also provides travel to and from Minnesota at the beginning and end of the tour as well as lodging and a rehearsal vehicle during the rehearsal period.
