The Factory Theater is seeking actors for both main cast and understudy roles for Two Out of Three Falls by Bill Daniel and directed by Ashley Yates. We are seeking actors of all sizes, ethnicities, abilities, and gender identities to submit. Roles that require a specific background are marked as such and while most roles currently fall within the binary, we encourage all actors to submit for the roles they are most interested in regardless of gender.
Show Description: In 1987, wrestling legend King Kong Bruiser was murdered. His killer walked away clean. In 2019, Johanna Goodish, daughter of the Bruiser, can’t seem to step out of his shadow. So she’s going to do the one thing that might shake off the ghost: she’s going to kill the man who killed her dad. And she’s going to do it in the middle of the ring, live on pay-per-view.

Rehearsals will be Monday-Wednesday evenings from 7-10 PM, Saturdays from 11:00 AM-3:00 PM, & Sundays from 10:00 AM-1:00 PM.
Performances are Thursdays-Saturdays at 8:00 PM with 2 Monday performances on 07/06 and 07/13 at 8:00 PM.
Character Type/Restrictions:
*There will be a guaranteed understudy performance*
JOHANNA Goodish: Age: 30s, but a toughened version of it. Time has been kind, but the ring has not. Built sturdy. Think Bull Nakano in her prime. (This role has been cast but we are seeking the understudy)
Eduardo QUINONES, “El Moreton”, (male/latino) Age: 70s, but can be played realistically by someone in their late 40s or early 50s. Wiry. Stronger than he looks.
Meg BISHOP, (female/black) Age: 30s, needs to realistically look like she would've grown up with Johanna. Maybe a little less weary. Life hasn't been a total shit show.
OLYMPUS Montez/Other HOST, (male/black) Age: Late 60s, but can be played realistically by Someone in their late 30s, to late 40s. Still in ring shape, but maybe a bit slower.
Amos Goodish, “King Kong BRUISER” Age: When he died, he was in his early 40s. But a hard, grizzled 40 that could easily be mistaken for late 50s. (This role has been cast but we are seeking the understudy)
Jackie CARTWRIGHT Jr. Age: Late 60s, and should definitely look every year of it. The kind of old CEO type that just won't die.
GILDA Saxton, (female/white) Age: Late 50s early 60s. But can be played by an actor in their late 30s if needed. A real product of the 70s and 80s kind of vibe. Seemingly locked in time and hardened by it.
DAN METZGER/ Tony VOSS/ PROMOTER Age: Any. These are nebulous wrestling types and can be played a variety of ways based on the kind of stock wrestling personality the actor brings.
