The Conspirators are looking for high-spirited comedic actors to fill out the cast of our fall production of DUCK SOUP, adapted for the stage from the CLASSIC Marx Bros. movie of the same name. We’re also looking for understudies. Rehearsals begin RIGHT AWAY and show runs 10/30 to 11/23. Lead and secondary/ensemble roles are available, some are already cast.
The Conspirators perform in a high-energy stylized comedic “mode” reminiscent of Vaudeville, neo-commedia dell’arte, and Bugs Bunny cartoons. Dare to be stupid! Oh, and we love to cross-dress, so you may play ANY-gendered character. Do you sing? Bonus!
Auditions are THIS COMING WEDNESDAY, 9/17. Please submit your headshot and resumé ONLY if you can commit to the show.

Time Commitment:
Rehearsals are Mondays through Thursdays from 7pm to 10pm. Long tech day Sunday, October 19. Previews 10/24 and 10/25, run is Thursdays through Sundays from 10/30 through 11/23. (There is a possible 2-week extension if we're really killing it.)
Character Type/Restrictions:
All genders sought! BIPOC and LGBTQ+ folks, please step to the front of the line. One character is specifically Latina.
