Hunchback of Nortre Dame

POINT2POINT PRODUCTIONS AND THE ELGIN SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA ARE SEEKING PERFORMERS FOR A SPECTACULAR ONE NIGHT CONCERT PERFORMANCE OF THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME under the direction of Heidi Joosten.  Performance will include a 39-piece orchestra and a Community Choir ensemble.

We are seeking paid performers for the roles of Claude Frollo, Quasimodo, Capt. Phoebus de Martin, Esmerelda, Clopin Trouillefou,  and Jehan Frollo (see character descriptions here). All other roles will be cast as step out performances from our volunteer Community Choir.  Lead stipend roles are open to adults ages 18 years of age and older.  Community Choir roles are open to those 16 years of age and older.  (For consideration for our Community Choir, please note that previous choir experience and the ability to read music is preferred.)

• Lead Actors will receive a $250-$350 stipend (depending on role) for this production.
  Community Choir and step-out positions are volunteer only and are not paid.
• First round auditions are video submissions and are due no later than Friday, November 14th.
• All video submissions should include vocals 1 min in length in a style similar to the show. Create video and resume links using Google Drive and include links using the Google Form link:  https://forms.gle/Kp9g5ahsGmdNPBof6
• Callbacks, if needed, will be by invitation only at time and a date to be determined.
• Potential rehearsal dates for lead and step-out roles will be held Sun-Thurs.  First rehearsal is scheduled for at The Lodge Performing Arts Cener,18 Villa Court in Elgin, IL beginning Monday, December 15th.
• Community Choir members will be required to attend 4 pre-tech rehearsals to be held at The Lodge Performing Arts Center, 18 Villa Court in Elgin.
• All tech rehearsals with the Elgin Symphony Orchestra will be held at The Hemmens.
