Twisted PlayFest (click here to learn more about Twisted PlayFest and Redtwist Theatre) is seeking BIPOC actors for the following roles:
“Short-Changed” by Jordan Gleaves
RICHARD Black male. Stan’s older brother. Mid-30s in the present.
STAN Black male. Richard’s young brother. Late-20s in the present.
SHAUN Black male. Stan’s boy and a figment of his imagination. *no one can see, nor hear him but Stan
HAROLD Black male. Stan’s neighbor.
“Following” by Ben F. Locke
DARNELL- Black Queer Male in his 20/30’s. App designer. A little all over the place and self-centered but still a good and genuine person. Very funny and witty. Says what’s on his mind but is still very loving in his own way.
RASHAAD- Black Queer Male in his 20/30’s. Darnell’s boyfriend. Very supportive, charming and funny. Compliments Darnell very well.
TEY- Latinx Trans Male in his 20/30’s. Outgoing but enjoys his alone time. Goofy but hard working. Best friend and roommate of Darnell.

Actors interested in submitting, please send your headshot, resume, and a short contemporary monologue of your choosing (this should be an unlisted youtube or vimeo link) to eileen@redtwist.org.
Time Commitment:
Staged Readings will rehearse for 25 hours beginning November 18th. Stand Readings will rehearse for 10 hours starting December 1st. The PlayFest will run December 17-22nd.
