Audition Opportunities for two productions:
Northbrook Theatre serves the Northbrook community with high-quality educational and recreational programming in dance, drama and music for over 40 years. Northbrook Theatre for Young Audiences
is dedicated to presenting the highest quality shows to and for young people and family audiences. All productions are performed by professional actors who seek to inspire imagination, develop creativity and build community. These productions can serve as wonderful introductions to live theatre but also be enjoyed by the most active theatergoers.
Pete the Cat- Musical
When groovy Pete meets The Biddles, he gets everyone rocking — except organized second-grader Jimmy, who’s stuck on an art project. Together they set off on a Paris adventure in a VW Bus to help Jimmy find his inspiration and learn about friendship along the way.

If You Give a Mouse a Cookie – Play
Boy just wants a peaceful day with cookies and his comic book — until Mouse shows up, adorable, energetic, and hungry. One cookie leads to one request after another in this mayhem-filled, joyride of an adaptation by Jody Davidson.

16-32 bar cut of an up-tempo musical theatre song (around one minute)
A reading from a children's story or poem OR A short monologue that would be appropriate for young people and families - something with clear character voice, rhythm, and personality.

A physical interpretation of a children's story or poem that shows clear character choices, and personality.
