Twelfth Night written by William Shakespeare, Directed by Kristina McCloskey and Associate Directed by Stephanie Mattos

AUDITIONS: Auditions can be submitted virtually. Please email our casting director Ben F. Locke at auditions@midsommerflight.com subject title “Twelfth Night Submission” with your headshot/resume.  If we would like you to audition, we will send you the audition form and instructions. Auditions should be submitted no later than Monday September 13th by 5:00pm. Please note that submission does not guarantee an audition slot.

CALLBACKS: Callbacks will be held in person at the Midsommer Flight rehearsal room at 1020 W Bryn Mawr on Thursday September 16th from 7pm-10pm and Saturday September 18 from 10am-2pm.

REHEARSALS: Rehearsals are scheduled to begin with a week of orientation and introductory workshop sessions (intimacy, fights, immersive, and music) during the first full week of October. The week of Thanksgiving will be OFF from Mon 11/22 through Saturday 11/27

TECH WEEK/TEST PERFORMANCES: Tech runs from Nov 28-Dec 1, Preview Dec 2, and Press Opening Dec 3.

PERFORMANCES: Performances run Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30 PM for 3 weeks, closing 12/19. With the limited number of tickets available for each performance (30-35 max), we are also asking cast and crew to hold Mondays 12/6, 12/13, and 12/20 for possible added performances if ticket sales are strong.

PAY: $200 Stipend

COVID PRECAUTIONS: Upon contract signing, ALL participants in the Cast and Production Staff will be required to provide proof of vaccination. During rehearsals and performances, ALL are required to wear a mask indoors at in-person activities at all times, with the exception of actors when they are performing or actively rehearsing onstage. Social distancing of 6 feet between people will be expected and enforced whenever and wherever possible. Audience members will be required to show proof of vaccination and wear a mask to attend performances. Midsommer Flight places the highest priority on the health and safety of its artists, staff, and audience members.

PLEASE NOTE: We are seeking an inclusive cast featuring folx of all body types, abilities, gender identities, and ethnicities. Gender and age in this show is expressive and fluid. Please submit for any character with whom you feel a connection.
