Mostly Fri/Sat/Sun with some added dates closer to Halloween

Character Type/Restrictions:

Improv Actors
non-gender specific; non-age specific; actor must be comfortable with improv and dialogue; actor must be comfortable wearing prosthetics make-up; due to the immersive and interactive nature of the show, improv acting is the main style of character interaction with the audience; these roles will be less comedic, focused on darker, more sinister character traits; there may be some scripted dialogue, poems or monologues to memorize, but it is mostly improv.

Movers
non-gender specific; non-age specific; actors who move well (or dancers); this role is incredibly unique to our program; full Creature Suits (think characters like The Predator or Xenomorph from Alien) are a huge component in House of Spirits; performers will have the ability to express themselves through movement, rather than dialogue; performer should be prepared to wear masks, body suits, prosthetics and/or body make-up.

Spiritualists
non-gender specific; non-age specific; should be comfortable wearing make up or prosthetics for this role; we are seeking professional level tarot card readers, palm readers, or other styles of spiritualist professionals; acting skills a plus; you will be interacting directly with the audience, so improv acting skills are handy; this role is less comedic and more dark and sinister in nature.

Burlesque
non-gender specific; non-age specific; should be comfortable wearing make up or prosthetics for this role; we are seeking professional level Burlesque performers, who are comfortable with a macabre or dark twist on their act; macabre acts a plus. Improv (non-comedic) and acting skills are a huge plus, as you will be interacting directly with the audience.

Scare Actors
non-gender specific; non-age specific; We are seeking actors who enjoy the art of the scare! Looking for folks with a background in haunted attractions or other horror/halloween events. Ideal candidates will be comfortable in the dark, wearing masks or creature suits, with the stamina to scare all night long!

Tall Movers
non-gender specific; non-age specific; Ideal candidates will be actors of any gender that are 6' 1" +.
