SUNDAY, AUGUST 17, 2025 from 4:30 – 7:00 PM
CALLBACKS ARE TUESDAY, AUGUST 19, 2025 FROM 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM.
Rehearsals begin – on or about Wednesday, September 17, 2025 (typically Sunday – Thursday 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm at the Skokie Theatre
Opening Night – November 7, 2025
Closing Night – November 23, 2025
Fridays, Saturdays at 7:30 and Sundays at 2:00 pm with one Wednesday matinee on November 19, 2025
PLEASE NOTE: THERE WILL BE SIGNIFICANT STAGE COMBAT DIRECTED BY A FIGHT CHOREOGRAPHER.

We are located at 7924 Lincoln Ave in downtown Skokie, near the S.W. corner of Lincoln and Oakton. We are 1/2 mile west of the Oakton Yellow Line, and easy to reach through several Pace bus routes including #210, #225, #226, #290, and #413. Parking is available in the Bank of America lot adjacent to the theatre.

CAST
1. Sidney Bruhl Lead, Male, age 50-69 Polished, dashing, devious, clever, thinks he’s the smartest man in the room and wants people to know it; is “on stage” even when at home.
2. Clifford Anderson Lead, Male, age 18-30 A student; very attractive, boyish and handsome at the same time; physically fit; he is very clever; knows he’s the smartest man in the room and can bide his time to display it; covers it with innocence, affection, and naïveté.
3. Myra Bruhl Supporting, Female, age 40-60 Sophisticated, upper-class, but embraces the country life; innocent, sweet, caring, emotional, nervous, even skittish, supportive of Sydney’s career and moods but grows some backbone when he crosses the line.
4. Helga ten Dorp Supporting, Female, age 30-99 Psychic, wild, individual, Gypsy-like; in and out of her world and this world; knows she’s a celebrity and buys into the show of her gift; has a Dutch accent; is disarming and brave when faced with pain and violence.
5. Proctor Milgrim Supporting, Male, age 30-99 Professional, solid, observant.
