Something is lurking deep in the desert of New Mexico. And soon, He will be known to all.
This twisted mystery follows sisters Val and Izzy on their journey to reconnect after the tragic death of their parents. Unknown to Val, Izzy’s new boyfriend Jessie is a serious force to be reckoned with. Val and her boyfriend Mike find themselves cornered by the secrets of the past and the end of the world. Isolated in the empty desert, the only way out is salvation.
Loose Cannon is now accepting Non-Union Chicagoland actors for our upcoming production of The Alligator Gospels, written by Matt Pelfrey and directed by Nick Alfano.

Time Commitment:
Weekly rehearsals Sunday 1:00 - 4:00 PM and Monday - Wednesday from 6:30PM - 10:00PM.

VAL: (She/Her, 20s - 30s). THIS ROLE HAS BEEN CAST. Izzy's younger sister. In a relationship with Mike. A natural-born leader. With so many unanswered questions, she approaches life with logic and reason. She is incredibly perceptive and is naturally drawn to reaching the truth.
MIKE: (He/Him, 20s - 30s). In a relationship with Val. Charmingly awkward, delightfully unaware, and totally harmless. The golden retriever-type with a certain clumsiness that spills over at the least opportune time. He loves Val with his whole heart, and wants to learn more about the family she comes from.
IZZY: (She/Her, 20s - 30s). Val's older sister. In a relationship with Jessie. Despite her troubled past, she is thriving in her new life. And though it's been years since seeing her sister, she is determined to right her wrongs and show Val how much stronger she has become. She is confident that if she can be saved, anyone can be saved.
JESSIE: (He/Him, 20s - 30s). THIS ROLE HAS BEEN CAST. In a relationship with Izzy. A walking question mark. Though he is quiet and, at times, unattached, he is incredibly calculated and can read people well. He is in-tune with his environment and is prepared to act on instinct. His presence is magnetic and unsettling.
