GreatWorks Touring theatre is seeking Black actors, non-AEA, all ages, for their upcoming 2021/2022 productions, including THE BFG, a multi-cultural ANNE FRANK production, a fast-paced (and pointed) history of America in 50 STATES IN 60 MINUTES, Shakespeare’s ROMEO & JULIET, a Harriet Tubman bio show, and an adaptation of THE GIVER, among others.
Performances occur during school hours, so weekday availability and a flexible schedule is required. Most performances are in Chicagoland, but there are occasional overnight bookings outside of the Chicago area. All roles are paid, with first year performers starting at $55 for a single show call. There is also a rehearsal stipend, and all rehearsals are at our Ravenswood corridor studio space.
