3obalek follows Jane, a bridesmaid for hire on the eve of her client Samantha’s wedding. There, she meets Amal and Ricky, who insist on having her be part of their impending nuptials, in spite of the fact that Jane usually turns down Arab weddings–god forbid she run into a cousin’s cousin! Jane lives with her older sister, a pilates studio owner who may be a little too focused on Jane’s life since the passing of their parents. After all, it’s Yara’s house and Yara sees all!….including Jane getting more intimately involved with both Amal and Ricky than she ever intended to. We follow these lovers and friends as they try to figure out what their wants and needs are under the watchful, unseen eye of community.

* Official rehearsal schedule TBD but will most likely be 7-10 on Mondays through Thursdays, and 10-2 or 11-3 on Saturdays and Sundays. Tech will start at 6.

Ricky - Early 30s. MEXICAN. Kindergarten teacher. His students’ favorite teacher. A devoted watcher.
Samantha - CASTING UNDERSTUDY ONLY. OPEN ON RACE. Early 30s. Corporate consultant. A really good friend. A comfortable watched.
