Corn Productions is casting for a new show in our Theatre for Young Audiences program! We are looking for actors of all races, genders, and identities for a comedic show for kids.
In Woodland Creature’s Halloween, our creatures are celebrating Halloween Break from their monster-sory school. Wolfies birthday is approaching, and they can’t wait to celebrate. But when new and exciting ideas come up, the creatures try to cram too much into their break. Can they do it all before Wolfies birthday? Is there a lesson here? How many Halloween puns can fit into one kids sized show?? Find out!
Material to Prepare:
Please email cornprodauditions@gmail.com with your headshot and resume to request for a 5-minute audition slot. Please prepare a short comedic monologue geared towards young audiences.
Time Commitment:
Rehearsal Time: Rehearsals will be Saturdays and Sundays from 9Am to 12PM and Tuesdays from 7PM to 10PM starting Saturday, September 6th. Some scheduling changes may occur based on cast availability. Tech/ Dress will be on Tuesday, September 30th, and Thursday, October 2nd, from 7-10PM
Performance Schedule: Performances will be on Saturday and Sunday at 11AM with a 10AM call time for actors. Performance dates are October 4th to October 19th.

Characters:
Wolfie the Werewolf: Young and rambunctious but has a good heart.
Vanessa the Vampire: Our tradition group leader. Over extends herself, even if she doesn't see what harm it might cause
Milo the Mummy: nervous, shy, quiet, and most of all afraid of the dark!
Batalie the Bat: New to the school and to the friend group Batalie is trying to fly high with her new friends
Ghossia the Ghost: grounded and a trickster, Ghossia is our silly friend
Ms. Monster/Troop Leader/other Adult Character: the adults to save any children in a children's story.
