The Children’s Theatre of Charlotte (NC) is seeking a non-Equity actor/singer of Asian descent to play “Justin” in The Invisible Boy.
Interested parties should submit a digital video audition in which they perform one accompanied song, and a monologue. The video should be shot in one take, and mention Children’s Theatre of Charlotte in the slate. Please send to Production@ctcharlotte.org, and write “Invisible Boy Submission” in the subject line.

Performances: Wed, Oct 8 - Sun, Nov 2, 2025 (primarily weekday mornings and weekends)
Character Type/Restrictions:
Justin/Ensemble | Bari/Tenor | JUSTIN is the new student. He is from Korea. There is a poise about him and an energy which is different from the rest of the children. He is confident, and for the most part doesn't worry about what anyone else thinks of him. Although he presents himself as a person of substance, he is also playful and fun, just like the rest of the students.
