BimBamBoom is seeking new and experienced performers to join the ensemble for the 2025 season! Ensemble members perform in our weekly burlesque, drag and variety events around the Chicagoland area.
For this audition, we are seeking the following performers…
Experienced burlesque dancers.
Performers with dance or movement training who wish to become burlesque dancers.
In addition to ensemble members, we are also seeking guest performers for occasional shows. We also train new dancers into burlesque professionals with our talented staff and production support.
This is an open-run commitment, for as long as you may want it, with our ensemble.
Material to Prepare:
Please prepare a burlesque-style dance piece of your own invention. You may choose to choreograph it or freestyle your audition. You may elect to remove your costume or stay clothed. In lieu, of pasties, you may want to use electrical tape for a covering. Disrobing is not required for the audition.
Time Commitment:
Dancers perform 1- 2 shows a month and must attend Monday evening rehearsals, 7 - 9pm.
Character Type/Restrictions:
BimBamBoom places no restrictions on gender, age, size, race or ethnicity. We're seeking charismatic and talented human beings of all shapes and sizes. Auditionees must reside in Chicagoland.
