A brand new Chicago theatre company
We are looking for four new actors to round out the existing cast as we revise last year’s play. Monologue to show range.
Material to Prepare:
Monologue to show range. No Shakespeare, please.
Time Commitment:
Rehearsals 6:00-9:00pm Wednesdays, Thursdays, Sundays, starting October 1. No rehearsals November 28&29 (Thanksgiving). 2446 N. Clark Street
Tech and Performances take place at The Greenhouse Theatre, 2257 N. Lincoln Avenue.
Tech November 30-December 1, 5:00pm
Invited Dress Rehearsal December 2.
Performances December 3-6: 6:30pm Th/F/S; 2:30pm Sat/Sun
Character Type/Restrictions:
Four (4) actors needed:
Actors do NOT have to be Jewish to audition. Seeking actors of diverse backgrounds.
Three (3) actors to play kids (middle school) who then play adults to carry the story forward. (Must be at least 18 years old.)
One older (40s-60s) to play teacher who becomes male lead. Teacher can be female or male but must be able to play convincing male.
