Before and After, a dramatic improv production

​Auditions: Theatre Momentum is holding auditions for our upcoming production, BEFORE AND AFTER, a dramatic improv production. We are seeking to cast 10-12 total players. Come join the ONLY theatre in Chicago dedicated to dramatic improvisation.
​​Life is defined in moments. Before and After explores the story leading to a life-changing event and the impact of that instant on all that is to follow. Are we truly changed by the big moments in our lives, or are we only revealed?

TM productions focus on grounded improvi​sation that explore the entire spectrum of human emotion, dealing with vulnerable human beings behaving honestly and connecting deeply. Auditioners are encouraged to consider themselves actors first and improvisors second.

Auditions will be held Wednesday, December 3rd, 6-8:30 PM or Saturday, December 6th, 12-2:30 PM. We are seeking to cast 10-12 players.

Some pay: cast members receive ​3​5% of the ticket sales​ and complimentary dramatic improv classes.

​Rehearsals​ will be Wednesdays, 6-8:30 PM, December 10-17, January 7-28​. Performances​ will be Fridays and Saturdays, 7:30 PM, January 30-February 21

All auditions, rehearsals, and performances will take place at Studio Momentum, 1541 W Belmont.

If you foresee any conflicts with the performance schedule, email us and let us know. Some off-nights will be scheduled for all performers. If you cannot attend every rehearsal, please let us know that as well.
