Breckenridge Backstage Theatre is looking for an actor for their production of Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol (Solo Show), By Tom Mula, and Directed by Jamal Howard. The theatre is located in Breckenridge, CO, with Producing Artistic Director Jacqueline Stone.
We are looking for Chicago actors who have local housing (in Chicago) for the duration of rehearsals.
*Rehearsals will take place in Chicago from Nov. 10 – 31 (our aim is daytime rehearsals). Any actor cast must be available to be in Breckenridge, CO from December 1 – 31, 2025 for the tech and performance process. In Breckenridge, we provide free housing and one round trip plane ticket. We also ensure high speed internet for anyone working remote. Our contract pay for this production is $500/week for 7 weeks, a total contract of $3,500.*
This is an initial headshot and resume submission, if our team is interested we will have actors send in self tape materials from the show, then schedule a callback over zoom.

BBT is looking for a skilled and flexible actor to perform all the characters in a one-person version of Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol.
We welcome and encourage actors who are BIPOC, non-binary, genderqueer, or gender non-conforming to apply.
