We are seeking a diverse selection of actors for the upcoming inc. New Play Festival. The festival will perform over 2 nights – 3 plays each night, 6 plays in total. (These will be staged stand readings, featuring 30-minute excerpts of each play.) Some actors may be cast in multiple roles in multiple readings. Scenes have yet to be chosen but will be presented from the plays developed through the new play incubation process, including work by the following playwrights: Jamaque Newberry, Andres Coronado, Kimzyn Campbell, Zoe Soteres, Kandace Mack, and Kolin Lawler.
Actor stipend: $50 per show cast

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES: Please submit a 1-2 minute monologue in your repertoire through our audition form. Feel free to submit a monologue that has been previously taped that best shows your range as an actor. Submission deadline: October 29th, 2025 midnight. Please submit this monologue as an unlisted youtube or vimeo link to newplaysinc@gmail.com OR submit it to the form when filling out.
Time Commitment:
Actors will be asked to attend 2 (3 hour) rehearsals + 1 dress rehearsal ahead of performing a 30 minute excerpt reading of a brand new play in development. Rehearsals 1 & 2 will be scheduled by the Director in accordance to actor availability.
