Company

MadKap Productions is seeking actors, singers, players and dancers for its production of Company, music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by George Furth, Director – Steve Scott, Musical Director – Jeremy Ramey.

The show follows Robert, a confirmed bachelor who, on the night of his 35th birthday, contemplates his single status through a series of vignettes with his married friends.

AUDITIONS – OCTOBER 6, 2025

The 14 member ensemble accommodates all vocal ranges.  No roles are precast.

1.   Please submit your headshot and resume to wendy@madkapproductions.com.  You will not receive a response until the week of September 24, 2025 BUT – you are booked!

2.   Please indicate whether you would like a 4:00 – 7:00 pm timeslot or a 7:00 – 10:00 timeslot.  If you can come early, please do.

3.   Please prepare 32 bars of a Broadway musical song in keeping with the tone of the show – but – please, not from the show itself.

4.   Please bring your book, well arranged with vocal options.

Production Dates:  February 6 – March 1 , 2026 Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 and Sundays at 2:00 pm with 1 Wednesday matinee February 25, 2026 Total – 13 performances

We are located at 7924 Lincoln Ave in downtown Skokie, near the S.W. corner of Lincoln and Oakton.  We are 1/2 mile west of the Oakton Yellow Line, and easy to reach through several Pace bus routes including #210, #225, #226, #290, and #413.

Parking is available in the lot adjacent to the theatre.
