Pay Rate: $55 single performance/$85 two-show contract, plus rehearsal stipend
Audition Date and Time: Self-tape Submissions with late-August callbacks

GreatWorks Touring Theatre is now accepting submissions from non-AEA adult actors for our upcoming 2025-2026 productions.

GreatWorks currently has a roster of eleven productions for grade school and middle school audiences. The line-up includes adaptations of ROMEO AND JULIET and THE LEGEND OF SLEEPY HOLLOW, a HARRIET TUBMAN bio show, and a fast-paced history of America in 50 STATES IN 60 MINUTES, among others.

Performances occur during school hours, so weekday availability and a flexible schedule is required. Most performances are in Chicagoland, but there are occasional overnight bookings outside of the Chicago area. All roles are paid, with first year performers starting at $55 for a single performance call. There is also a rehearsal stipend, and all rehearsals are at our North Center studio space.

Our 2025-26 Season Generals will be run virtually rather than in person.
