Actor/Drummer? Performer/Percussionist? We need you!

THE CONSPIRATORS ARE LOOKING FOR PERCUSSIONISTS, DRUMMERS, BANGERS, FOLEY ARTISTS WITH RHYTHM, ETC., FOR OUR WORKSHOPS, REHEARSALS AND PERFORMANCES. IS THIS YOU?

The Conspirators always work in our signature style, called “The Style,” where action is always punctuated with a “mark” by a drummer. Sometimes the setup is a simple snare, sometimes it gets funnier and more complex to include slide-whistles, idea-bells, glockenspiel, heck we even have tympanum!

Are you a drummer who loves to accompany? Are you an actor who wants to try a new thing? Any level of percussion skill is welcome and you are encouraged to inquire!

We’re currently in rehearsals in April and May (drummer not called every day), and presenting a show, Chicago Cop Macbeth, in May and June. Ideally we’d have a small cadre of 2-3 percussionists who’d be interchangeable so someone wouldn’t have to be there every night.

There’d be stipend-type pay for rehearsals and performance, but IT’S NOT A LOT, so think about that.
